Optimal Fitness & Rehabilitation
At Optimal Fitness and Rehabilitation we take a one to one approach with all of our clients. We have a studio at Bilston Glen that is a ‘real’ personal training facility. You will work on a personal basis with either Alan or Corina, there will be no other clients present in the gym. That means no people watching you train, no waiting for equipment, all the space you need, easy parking and no one else in the changing rooms. When you are working with us you can see either Alan or Corina and you can see the same person when we perform soft tissue massage or exercise, you will see the same smiling face at each visit. You can choose to see Alan or Corina, both are qualified to the same high standard in all disciplines. We offer an integrated approach to everyone’s exercise needs; personal training, soft tissue massage, specific assessment and dietary manipulations are all integrated to provide the client with a truly holistic approach from one source and delivered in a professional environment. AnnouncementOptimal AnnouncementCorina and I are pleased to announce that at the end of January 2010 we intend to leave Edinburgh for San Diego. In San Diego we will open a personal training, bodywork and performance studio offering similar services to that which we currently offer. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers, students and friends who have worked with us over the past 10 years. Gail Walkingshaw of Holistic Harmony and The Edinburgh Therapy Academy will be taking over the operation of our Bilston Glen facility. Gail is a wonderful massage therapist and I know that she is gathering around her a team of massage therapists and personal trainers to grow her new business. Appointments will be available with us throughout the Holiday Period (Corina and I don’t do Christmas) and some appointments will be available at Bilston Glen with us into January. We are happy to run any workshops that you would like. If we get 6 or more students interested in any of our existing workshops we are happy to run them again before we leave, obviously time and diary space is running out. This year after competing in the World Age-group Triathlon Championships in Australia Corina also won the British Triathlon ranking series for her age group. On Tuesday the 8th of December she became the first cyclist to break a bone crossing the new tram lines in Edinburgh! Unfortunately this means that Corina is unavailable for any massage work for the next 4-6 weeks. If you would like to book a treatment, massage, personal training session (with Alan) or course before we go away then please let us know. We would really like to see as many of you as possible before we head off to sunnier shores. Many thanks to you all have a great Christmas and we hope that the New Year will be as exciting for you as it will be for us. Hope to see as many of you as possible before we go. Alan & Corina What makes us different?
